Enabling the Alternative Counter Printer
To enable an alternative counter printer, open Administration and select Mobile devices. In this area, open the settings for connected devices.
Select the main register and open its device settings. This is where you activate the alternative printer so that it can be used in the ordering process.
Configuring the Printer IP Address
In the next step, enter the IP address of the alternative counter printer. Make sure the IP address is correct so that the main register can communicate reliably with the printer.
After saving the IP address, restart the app on the main register so that the changes take effect.
Selecting the Printer in the Order Screen
After restarting the app, the order screen provides a printer selection. You can choose between printer 1 and printer 2 depending on where the order should be printed.
This makes the printing process more flexible and is especially useful in busy hospitality environments with multiple counters or preparation areas.
