Ticket Formats in Detail

Travelmanager supports different ticket formats for validation and control. The following formats are commonly used:

  • QR code of the booking number: Validates all passengers for a selected segment or tour.
  • Single-trip ticket: During ticket control, passengers as well as booked equipment and extras are considered.
  • Passengers (Pax): The passenger QR code is structured for clear identification using booking code, running number, and price type ID.
  • Extras: These codes identify additional services added during booking.
  • Equipment: QR codes for equipment make it possible to check booked equipment items precisely.
  • Single item: This format is deprecated, but validation of individual positions remains possible if the QR codes are scanned correctly.
  • Online-only validation: Some tickets require an active online connection for validation.
  • Multi-ride ticket and retail sale: QR codes for multi-ride tickets and retail items support transparent validation in the TicketApp.
  • Vouchers: Vouchers are identified by a specific QR code recorded during booking.
  • Barcode: Barcode type 128 can be integrated into forms for additional flexibility.
