PayPal

PayPal is a widely used payment service provider for online payments. Customers can pay in the online shop using their PayPal account, while the payment confirmation is returned to Travelmanager.

Online Payment

To use PayPal in Travelmanager, you need a PayPal business account and a PayPal app in the Developer Dashboard. From this app, copy the client ID and secret key into the Travelmanager payment method configuration.

Creating a PayPal App

  1. Log in to the PayPal Developer Dashboard with your PayPal business account.
  2. Open My Apps & Credentials.
  3. Make sure live mode is active.
  4. Click Create App.
  5. Enter a name for the app. The name does not affect the integration in Travelmanager.

Reading PayPal Credentials

After creating the app, retrieve the required credentials.

  1. Open My Apps & Credentials again.
  2. Select the app you created.
  3. Copy the client ID.
  4. Copy the secret key.

Store these credentials securely and never publish the secret key.

Storing PayPal in Travelmanager

  1. Open System > Payment methods in the Travelmanager backend.
  2. Select the PayPal payment method.
  3. Enter the client ID and secret key in the required fields.
  4. Save the configuration.
  5. Perform a test payment.
